$1.6 million for the establishment of a pre-qualification centre for unmaned aerial systems in Alma
Alma, July 15, 2019 – The governments of Canada and Quebec are providing a total of $1.6 million in funding to the Unmanned Aerial System Centre of Excellence (UAS-CE) to support the establishment of the Qualia Pre-Qualification Centre in Alma, in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region.

A Quebec-Texas agreement to enhance the integration of UAS into the US and Canadian airspace
An agreement between the Quebec UAS Centre of Excellence (UAS CE), the Texas Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence & Innovation (LSUASC) and the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) was made public on May 9th during the Canadian networking reception of the annual Xponential conference held in Dallas.
